Please join us on Thursday, January 21, 2021 @ 3:00 PM (EST) when Roxanne Halko, Team Lead of the MAiD review team at the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario will outline the role of the Office of the Chief Coroner (OCC) in MAiD deaths in Ontario; describe the evolution of the OCC approach for review/investigation of MAiD deaths; highlight the frequency, scope, themes, and trends of MAiD deaths in Ontario & Canada; and, share a brief overview of trends in substance-related mortality in Ontario.
