Visionary Award Nomination Form
Please consider nominating one of your inspiring colleagues for the Canadian Forensic Nurses Association Visionary Award!
Who can be nominated?
Any person or group can put forth a nomination, except for members of the CFNA executive and the awards committee.
- Practicing within one or more of nursing’s domains (administration, clinical care, education, policy, and research), the nominee demonstrates innovation, resilience, and commitment that serves to enhance professional forensic nursing practice and forensic nursing client health outcomes at local and/or global levels.
- Examples include developing forensic nursing practice standards, curricula, research work, knowledge translation, advocating for social change, collaboration with key stakeholders, etc.
The call for nominees will go out the beginning of May and close June 15th. The committee will make its decision in July and notify the executive of its decision. The award includes a one-year membership for the CFNA.
